Pre Hip-Hop

• 5-6 year olds
• 7 year olds Pre Hip-Hop or Level I classes

Pre Hip-Hop allows our young students to explore an introduction to hip-hop while enjoying age appropriate technique and music. Our young boys and girls love the rhythms and syncopated movements and choreography which includes floorwork and centre work. Our young students love learning the latest steps and choreography and bringing their personality to the movement. Hip-hop explores accenting the body with the music and also allows works on improv skills. A basic introduction to popping, locking, breaking, house, and fusion styles will keep your student interested and excited to come to class. Cardio stamina is also improved in this fast paced class.

Our young students age 6 and up have the opportunity to be considered for a position in the nationally recognized and award winning pre-professional company, The Susan Chambers Dance Company. Additional training and performing opportunities are available when you are accepted into our prestigious pre-professional company.

Pre Hip-Hop Classes enjoy performing in our Annual Concert.

Pre Hip-Hop Classes are one hour in length.
