About The Susan Chambers School of Theatre Dance

The Susan Chambers School of Theatre Dance is an award-winning performing arts school of excellence, nationally recognized as an innovative leader since 1980. We have three performing arts schools which are conveniently located in Alpharetta, Lawrenceville, and Suwanee, Georgia. We are proud to offer a nurturing training program with professional instruction for all ages and skill levels. Come and discover our Children's Program, which includes Creative Movement and Combination Classes, or our classes for Young Dancers, Teens, and Adults. And for the pre-professional dancer, the Susan Chambers Dance Company provides a unique and unparalleled training program with performance and competition opportunities.

Our program is truly unrivaled because after training with the Susan Chambers School of Theatre Dance, the possibilities are limitless. Our students have appeared in some of the biggest shows on Broadway, such as: "The Producers," "Cats," "42nd Street," "Anything Goes," and the Radio City Rockettes. They are also members of prestigious professional dance companies, and many have been awarded scholarships to top universities such as: Columbia, NYU, University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School, Brigham Young, Florida State, Georgia Tech, University of Georgia and others.

If you are interested in pursuing a dance or performing arts career, our instruction can prepare you for everything from classical ballet to Broadway. We are the home studio of the award-winning Susan Chambers Dance Company, a pre-professional dance company for students ages 7 through 18.

Locations

In September, 2008, our third studio location opened in northern Gwinnett County (Suwanee), joining our Alpharetta (north Fulton County) and Lawrenceville (central Gwinnett County) locations.

Our three locations make dance classes convenient to all areas of north and northeast Atlanta.

The Lawrenceville studio is centrally located in Gwinnett County, convenient to Barrow and Hall Counties. The cities of Lawrenceville, Lilburn, Snellville, Loganville, Grayson, Dacula, Buford, Auburn, Winder, and Norcross have easy access to the studio via Georgia Highway 316, Highway 120, Sugarloaf Parkway and I-85.

Our Alpharetta location serves north Fulton County, Forsyth, east Cobb and northern Gwinnett Counties. Alpharetta, Roswell, Cumming, Ocee, Sandy Springs and Dunwoody residents have easy access from Georgia Highway 400, Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Jones Bridge Road, McGinnis Ferry Road, Windward Parkway, McFarland Road or Old Milton Parkway.

The Suwanee studio, conveniently located on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. in north Gwinnett County, serves Duluth, Suwanee, Sugar Hill, Hamilton Mill, Buford, Flowery Branch, Lake Lanier, Mill Creek, Berkeley Lake, and the Johns Creek area.
